Be sure to bring all of the documents that you were given on the day of your arrest. These documents provide the information needed to begin the defense of your case. The arresting agency should have given you the DIC-24 and DIC-25 (your statutory warnings and temporary license). You should have also received information about the court your case was assigned to and the date you are to appear.

Be prepared to discuss every detail of the day of your arrest. Small details may develop into decisive issues in your case. Be thinking about: what you ate and drank, how much sleep you had, physical or mental issues you were experiencing, type of shoes, medication taken, condition of your vehicle and so on. Communicating every detail to your San Antonio DWI lawyer is essential to preparing a solid defense.
